DESCRIPTION:Join Casting Society Cares as we volunteer to distribute hygiene kits/clothing/other resources onsite at Silver Lake Community Church and to join with SELAH leads to deliver supplies and check-in with unhoused neighbors at encampments near the church.  \n– We need a group of 6 people – \nNO WALK-INS ALLOWED. EVERYONE MUST REGISTER.\n– Minimum age requirement is 18 –  \nWHEN\nSaturday\, September 19\, 2026\n11:30 am – 4 pm PT\n \nWHERE\n2930 Hyperion Ave.\nLos Angeles\, CA. 90027 \nWHO\nFriends and family are welcome. Minimum age requirement is 18.  \nHOW\nEmail volunteers@castingsocietycares.org to register.\n \n\nThe SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition is a 501(c)(3) organization of neighborhood organizers who recognize unhoused individuals as fellow members of our community worthy of the same dignity\, respect and representation afforded to any housed person. Their mission is to build a community-led response to homelessness in Los Angeles that addresses the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors and activates an empowered coalition of participants\, volunteers and partners. \nNicole Arbusto\, CSA\, is on the Board of Directors & Officers. \nIf you’re unable to attend but still want to support this cause\, consider donating to support this vital resource center.
