Volunteer with CSC at City Harvest’s Prince Hall Mobile Market — NY
Join Casting Society Cares as we volunteer with City Harvest at the Prince Hall Mobile Market! Volunteers will help distribute fresh produce to New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity by staffing market tables, stocking produce, guiding participants through the market and assisting with setup and cleanup.
Additional activities may include sorting and repacking food, breaking down produce boxes and helping with line management. The ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs. is helpful, but not required.

City Harvest rescues nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and delivers it to New Yorkers experiencing hunger. Through its Mobile Markets, City Harvest provides fresh produce free of charge through outdoor, farmers’ market-style distributions in communities across New York City.
