The mission of the Atlanta Community Food Bank is to fight hunger by engaging, educating, and empowering our community. While our core work is food distribution, our efforts extend far beyond that. Our mission is lived out every day by engaging, educating, and empowering both people in need and those who want to help.
Additionally, the Atlanta Community Food Bank works with nearly 700 community-based partners—including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, shelters, and senior centers—to distribute an average of 10.3 million pounds of food each month, or approximately 9 million+ meals to our neighbors who are food insecure in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
