Volunteer with CSC at Hollywood Food Coalition — LA

The Mission of Hollywood Food Coalition is to nourish the community by rescuing and distributing food, preparing nightly meals and uniting efforts to achieve food equity. In 1987, they answered a call to action from the City of West Hollywood to help unhoused people in need and started offering a simple meal every single day. Since 2020, they serve an average of 200 meals each night.
Additionally, the Hollywood Food Coalition has developed and expanded their systems and infrastructure to be adaptable during emergencies, providing immediate crisis response and sustained support to organizations that regularly serve food-insecure Angelenos. During the recent fires, they distributed 80,000 pounds of food to 48 current partners and 22 new fire relief response organizations and community groups.
